 | The Plot: Okay, let’s try and piece this one together. There are two stories that are unfolding within Scorpion Thunderbolt, and within this IFD product, Godfrey Ho and company barely try to tie them together at all. In the larger storyline made up from Taiwanese/Korean horror film known as Grudge of the Sleepwalking Woman (thanks to Kenny B. and Jesus Pérez Molina for this info), we find a series of murders have been taking place and there appears to be no clear suspect. Enter inspector Jackie Ko and his partner Miss Lee. Although it seems highly implausible, all signs are pointing to a killer that is not human. Our police officers soon run into photographic journalist Helen who is just as curious about this case as they are, but Helen holds a rather dark secret behind her beauty. At the same time that all of this is happening, Richard (Richard Harrison) finds that he is at odds with a vampire witch (who has metal claws and plays the bongos throughout the entire movie) who desperately wants a ring that has been passed down within his family for generations. Richard fights some random people and gets to kiss on a naked chick’s boobs, all in a day’s work. |

 | The Plot: Diamond Ninja Force tells the story of an ancient battle between ninja sects… kinda. In a previous ninja war, the Diamond Ninja Force had defeated the nefarious Black Ninja Clan. After the war concluded, the Black Ninja Clan had their dead buried in a secluded area that has went undisturbed for numerous years. In the present, however, this hidden graveyard is in the process of being dug into by a wealthy land owner. The Black Ninja Clan, who desperately wants this land, decide to kill off the land owner by unleashing a curse on him. This curse somehow transfers to the land owner’s daughter who is now being haunted after she, her husband, and their son Bobo have moved into a new home. They call up their good friend Gordon (Richard Harrison), who also happens to be a member of the Diamond Ninja Force, who steps in to attempt to rid them of these evil spirits. |

 | The Plot: In this sequel to Tiger on Beat, we follow police officer Sgt. Lam Yik Lim (Danny Lee) as he is tasked with finding a wife for his nephew Buffalo (Conan Lee). Buffalo has come to Hong Kong from The United States and often finds himself getting into trouble, which gets his uncle in trouble by proxy. Almost as soon as Buffalo gets off the boat, he finds himself in a bar fight while trying to protect a young woman named Sweet Dream (Ellen Chan). Unknown to Buffalo, this young woman is a hustler who ultimately leaves him hanging out to dry once the police arrive. Soon after this, Sweet Dream ends up as the witness to a murder, but because of her reputation as a thief/hustler, no one believes her. That doesn’t stop the triads from putting a price on her head. As Sweet Dream tries to evade the numerous killers that are now on her trail, she teams up with Buffalo who still doesn’t believe her story – but is slowly falling for the young woman. Before long, Buffalo and Sgt. Lim are both in the middle of a personal war against these violent triads. |

 | The Plot: Our film begins with a brief lovestory unfurling between Yang Yansi, the sixth of seven sons within the prestigious Yang family, and the lovely Princess Chai. Yansi wants to pursue his love and earn Princess Chai’s hand in marriage via a local martial arts competition. Unfortunately, this contest is a sham, and the winner has already been predetermined. When Yansi’s younger brother steps in during the contest and accidentally kills the man who was SUPPOSED to take Chai as his wife, the entire Yang family is expected to fall. Their father, a powerful politician, is demoted back to a general at the frontlines of the war. This means the senior Yang must head off to the front in a battle with the invading Kithan army. While General Yang is a genius when it comes to warfare, he is unfortunately marched right into a trap, and the majority of his men are slaughtered. Yang is backed into a mountain where he and his men await further support. Unfortunately, that support will not be coming, and the only people he can depend on are his own seven sons who must suit up and head off for battle. |

 | The Plot: 18 Fatal Strikes takes place during the Qing dynasty. The film opens with Wong Wu Ti (Lung Sze-Ma) showcasing his Shaking Eagle Claw style (which has him making noises that sound like that of a cat) against a Shaolin Abbot named Wan Hung. Wan Hung is a rebel against the Manchu, and it seems that he may face certain death when up against Wong Wu Ti – but he manages to escape at the last minute. He is found and taken care of by two silly farmers, played by Wei Tung and Dean Shek, but when Wong Wu Ti comes looking for the Abbot, great peril waits for all involved. |
