Xan Cassavetes, daughter of John Cassavetes, jumped to my personal attention after she released the amazing documentary Z Channel: A Magnificent Obsession, but I have still yet to see her direct anything nonfiction. It seems that Kiss of the Damned will be the first dramatic feature film that any of us get to see from the second-generation director. Judging by this trailer, Kiss of the Damned could be something special. Appearing very sexual and very off-kilter, the trailer makes the movie look very defiant. The movie will be available on iTunes/On Demand March 28, 2013, and in theaters May 3, 2013. This certainly seems like one to keep your eyes on.
