 Anyone own The Tox Box?
Like, the one that's actually called The Tox Box, not The Complete Toxic Avenger collection. Apparently The Tox Box contains the only uncut DVD of The Toxic Avenger Part II. Not a very good film, but I'm guessing it would be far more enjoyable with all of the gore intact.

Nope, don't own it, but I think I heard that about Toxie 2. I've only seen a few minutes of Toxie 2 but yeah... I'm of the same opinion, not good at all, even for a Troma flick Still haven't seen the third at all, but I haven't heard anything too positive about that one either.

Re: Anyone own The Tox Box?
Toxie 3 blows save for the opening scene in a video store. A dude gets his hand mutilated in a tape rewinder, ha.
I hear a lot of people say that the gore in Toxie 2 makes it a little more worth watching; a lot of people make claims that it makes up for how terrible the rest of it is.

Re: Anyone own The Tox Box?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but does the Tox Box have the Toxic Crusaders cartoon on it as well? If so... that certainly raises the value of this box set for me

Re: Anyone own The Tox Box?
The Complete Toxic Avenger box does. Tox Box has only the first three episodes and only the first three movies. I'm almost considering buying it, though, just for the uncut second film.

Awww, hmm, choices! It's like, how much of a selling point is the cartoon? At least you get a taste of it with the Tox Box and who knows, I haven't seen that show since I was a child - it might not be worth seeing much of the rest More gore with the Tox Box and more Toons with the Complete Toxie... when I get some spare cash, I too may side on the behalf of gory violence!

Re: Anyone own The Tox Box?
Well, and with Complete Toxie you get Toxic Avenger IV and its making-of feature, both of which are amazing.

Re: Anyone own The Tox Box?
Why must you make this so hard on me? I've seen Toxie 4, but this making of feature intrigues me. Is it feature length?

Fark. That sounds pretty incredible. I want to see what a douchebag Kaufman is on set. God I hope I get this job I'm going for. Need the scratch, and it would be nice to own all the Toxie flicks as well. Even if there are only a couple of good flicks.

Re: Anyone own The Tox Box?
Well, if you do get the Tox Box, you'll have to burn me a copy of uncut Toxie 2; and I'll burn you copies of Citizen Toxie and the making of feature. ;)

Re: Anyone own The Tox Box?
Score! I appear to have found the unrated Toxie 2. Was at a Cheapo and found it; the cover actually says "unrated," and according to DVD Aficionado, the DVD with the exact same cover shown there is the 102-minute version (instead of the 96-minute edited one). Way pleased. :)

Re: Anyone own The Tox Box?
Cheapo is the name of a store? Sweet deal though dude! Six more minutes of Toxie carnage! Please do fill in the blanks and let me know if it somehow sweetens the deal as far as the general movie goes.

Re: Anyone own The Tox Box?
Yup. Maybe it's a Minnesotan chain. They sell music (CDs, and this particularly one I was at has a HUGE vinyl section—a whole floor) and movies.
They're not very cheap (inexpensive) either—ha! But you can find some cool things there. They've got a pretty sizable cult selection, though for some reason all their softcore porn DVDs are in the same section. Saw a porno series called Lesbionage.
